But I’m glad that as an American I can make a difference and try to change the law by voting in November and voicing my concerns to my representatives. Because this is a hot button health issue I wrote an editorial on this topic on Healthy Moms. http://www.thehealthymoms.net/2010/03/why-health-care-reform-bill-will-hurt.html I am very upset with how this turned out. Out of the 279 Democrats in the House, it was inevitable that Nancy would eventually cobble a majority, no matter how bad the bill is, no matter the damage it will do. Inevitable because, despite the President's protestations, this bill is purely about strong arm politics and partisan appeals to support the Obama administration. Kucinich said as much after his ride on Air Force One. That was why he was changing his vote - not because it was a good bill, not because it was real reform, just to avoid damaging the President.
