Obama Hints At Sebelius As VP?

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Kansas, Veep

He was quoted yesterday…
“I love Kathleen Sebelius. I think she is as talented a public official as there is right now. Integrity. Competence. She can work with all people of all walks of life, but I promised that I am not going to say anything about my vice president until I actually introduce my vice [...]

Wes Clark Floats Obama/Sebelius

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Hillary, Kansas, Veep

Well how about that!
I wrote about just this topic a couple days ago when I noticed Sebelius gave an interview and the backdrop behind her was San Francisco. “What could she be doing there?” I asked myself.
Now former presidential candidate Wes Clark, a very strong Hillary supporter, is making some strong suggestions…

Is Sebelius At The Top Of Obama’s VP List?

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Kansas, Veep, Video

Personally, I’ve been skeptical because I don’t think she could deliver Kansas. McCaskill made a lot more sense.

From TPM Election Central:
In what will likely be taken as a sign of Republican Party [...]

Kansans Caucusing In the Snow

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Kansas

I’m watching it right now on the local news. They had to move into a courtyard in front of a courthouse. Most of them don’t have umbrellas. All signs point to a very good night for Obama in Kansas.
If nothing else, this is a great night for democracy because people are actually caucusing IN THE [...]

Record Kansas Caucus Turnout Creates Problems

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Kansas

Record numbers, at least near the Missouri border.
In fact, the numbers are so big, they’re having to move caucus locations in some locales.
Wow.
