Google Maps is a very popular application on mobile devices and it seems that a new update for it has just been released. This new Google Maps version is now available for devices running on Android and iOS.

We’ve seen many new features being added to the Google Maps in the last months, but it seems that the developers have come now with a new option that allows you to see where you’ve parked your car.

We remind you that this feature was firstly tested for a few weeks in the Google Maps BETA version, but it seems that the developers have decided that it is ready to be released for the public.

The new function is quite simple, as you will just need to park your car, save the parking spot and a label will appear on your map. This new option is awesome, especially when you visit a big foreign city, where it is quite hard to remember where exactly you’ve parked your car.

So, after you save your parking spot, you will notice a label on the map and it will be very easy to get to the location of your car. You can also set a timer, which is great, as you can avoid getting a ticket in case you’ve parked in a place where your car can’t stay for more than 1-2 hours.

To make things even better, you can also send the parking spot to a friend or save a picture of the location, to make things even easier once you get to the area where your car is parked (if it’s too crowded).

In order to get the new feature on your Google Maps on your Android OS or iOS, just open the official store on the mentioned operating system and update to the latest version of the application.
