iOS 10 Makes Jailbreaking Almost Impossible
Jailbreaking has been around ever since Apple’s first more advanced device. Who doesn’t remember when it used to be cool to jailbreak your iPod and personalize it to the point of no return? Most of us who were in our teens during Apple’s heyday most likely remember jailbreaking with quite a bit of sweet nostalgia.
With that being said, jailbreaking devices can actually be quite dangerous for them. By attempting to finalize the process, you risk to permanently damage your iPhone, iPad or iPod. Things are generally fine if you do it right, but that is rarely the case, seeing as jailbreaking can sometimes be a quite confusing and tedious process. Many would say that it’s best not to attempt it at all.
However, seeing how things are unfolding ever since Apple launched iOS 10 for its devices, jailbreaking might not even be a thing anymore. Keep reading to find out why.
The World’s Most Famous Hackers Are Saying ‘No’ to Future Jailbreaks
Jailbreak hacker Luca Todesco was the first one to pull out of the race to jailbreak iOS 10 further. He announced on this Twitter account, @qweryoruiopz, that he was done jailbreaking. On top of that, he said that if your OS is higher than an iOS 10.2.1, jailbreaking is impossible. And with most devices already receiving iOS 10.3, that seems to be the case almost everywhere.
On top of that, other jailbreak giants such as TaiG, PP Jailbreak and Pangu have kept silent on the issue for quite some while now. Seeing how iOS 10.3 is actually impossible to jailbreak due to a new added security feature, we’re assuming that no one wants to get involved in that anymore. After all, you don’t want to be the one responsible for thousands of people burning out their phones for good.
