iPad PRO 9.7 vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 – Which One Is Better?

Both Samsung and Apple have announced their newest tablets in the month of March this year and as such they will no doubt be subjected to a fair amount of comparison as is usually the case between these companies.

Tab S3 is apparently designed to be more of a powerhouse in entertainment terms, while its iPad counterpart seems to be going for affordability by cutting some of its features down. Both tablets have pretty solid designs with curved edges and rounded corners. They incorporate a fingerprint sensor in their home buttons underneath the display and both tablets feature a front camera at the top of the display.

As far as hardware and cameras are concerned, the Apple iPad has a A9 chip with an embedded M9 coprocessor and 2GB of ROAM, with the option of 32 GB and 12GB storage. However, neither versions have microSD storage expansion support. Unlike the iPad PRO 9.7, it only has a dual-speaker system installed instead of a quad variant. 3.5mm headphone jack is available as well as a lightning port for ease of charging and an average 10-hour battery life. The rear camera has 1080p video recording capability and has 8 megapixels while the front camera is a FaceTime HD 1.2 megapixels.

Tab S3 by Samsung has a strong quad-core processor, 4GB RAM, a storage option of 32GB but, unlike the new iPad, it comes with a microSD slot for a possible storage of 256GB. The rear camera is a 13 Megapixel camera which also has a flash and is capable of 4K recording, while the frontal is a 5 megapixel sensor.

Tab S3 also has strong quad-stereo speakers with multi-directional sound, all tuned by AKG. Classical 3.5mm jack for headphones is available and a 6000mAh battery which supposedly can resist 12 hours while playing videos.
