Of course, this is not the only reason. The roots of public schools failure is really the story of the cultural failures starting in the 60's. Trash in, trash out. To a certain degree I believe in John Edward's "2 Americas" -- its root cause is public school system which needs a thorough extirpation from the Dewey-dumbasses at the DOE & NEA. Can a certified, card-carrying Liberal please provide me with a coherent answer to: why we should not reduce the per-pupil costs of public education to a voucher and allow (mostly poor minority children) to benefit from educational competition? Are we trying to keep them on the plantation?
