White House Endorses Same Sex Couples?

Americablog has an interesting find regarding Mary Cheney and her partner’s new child. The official White House site has a photo of Dick and Lynne Cheney holding the child, with this caption…

Vice President Dick Cheney and his wife, Lynne Cheney, welcomed their sixth grandchild, Samuel David Cheney, Wednesday, May 23, 2007. He weighed 8 lbs., 6 oz and was born at 9:46 a.m. at Sibley Hospital in Washington, D.C. His parents are the CheneysÃ¢â‚¬â„¢ daughter Mary, and her partner, Heather Poe.

That’s interesting for a multitude of reasons, but hop on over and tell me us what you think.
