I do hope the debate is respectful, as he promises.
Fingers crossed.

JMC will use bigotry, he will use demagoguery, he will use fear. The question is will people continue to fall for it. Subtle misdirection is not a new strategy, but Karl Rove seems to think he invented it …..the clean skies initiative, the healthy forest initiative, etc. JMC will do the same thing I think – because he’s predictable – always was. There’s a saying that “generals always fight the last war” – the Republican generals will fight with 2000 and 2004 tactics – it’s all they know and the successful people from those elections are currently in place (on both Clinton and JMC sides I might add).

Even if McCain tries to rise above the usual GOP bullshit, the rest of his part won’t. Just look at Tennessee.

This is the political equivalent of my daughter lofting a softball to Barry Bonds on a triple-shot of GHG and Redbull. You this Carl would have looped this crap at that kid. No way. He would have dispatched him long ago or dropped out. For having such a wicked leviathan of a political “machine”, this woman has shit for campaign advisers…but then again, look at what they have to work with. A turd without a blossom. So sad.
