Obama Wins Guam…By 7 Votes
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Hillary, Super Delegates!!!Wow.
The final totals are Obama – 2,264, Clinton – 2,257. They’ll split the pledged delegates 2 to 2.
And about those superdelegates I mentioned earlier, the Obama supporter won today. Here’s the AP with more about how the 5 supers could break out…
Voters picked two of the superdelegates, electing uncommitted Pilar Lujan party chairman and Jaime Paulina vice chairman. Paulina ran as an Obama supporter. One other existing superdelegate has favored Clinton and the votes of the other two have not been declared.
So it’s basically 3 to 3 now in total delegates out of Guam and either candidate could pick up the remaining supers.
