This is an incredibly naive post. Exactly what Coleman is counting on as he attempts to court public opinion to ensure victory. Basically, his challenges are much more questionable than Franken's, if you look at them on the Minnesota SoS site. The goal is to subtract enough votes from the recount to be ahead when the recount is finished, so that if Franken wins by having challenged votes reinstated, it appears he has overturned the will of the people.

What makes you naive is that Franken was one of the loudest voices after the debacle that was the 2000 election. He of all people is not going to defer to public sentiment and give up the seat unfairly. He will make sure every legitimate vote is counted. THAT is Wellstone's legacy, not allowing a sleaze like Coleman to steal an election.
