Photos Of Protests In Iran

By Glenn Church | Related entries in Iran

These photos are from Tehranlive.org. Amir Sadeghi operates the photo blog and gave me permission to post them in hopes people will look at some of the other stunning images he has. I urge you to take a look. Clearly, the Iranian people are not going to let this election be stolen in silence. All the indications point to some significant fraud and with an 85% voter turnout, the people are motivated to express their feelings one way or another.

The Ayatollahs made a big mistake in allowing an unprecedented six debates and wide open campaigning. When a little light is shone in a repressive society, people often hunger for more. No one should expect any of this to end quickly or painlessly.

By the way, Amir gives me the indication he is going to update the photos on his site regularly.

I find the one with the police officer fascinating.
