[Download] Chrome Update for Android Available with New Improvements

Google has released a new update for Chrome, the Android version and it comes with some changes. The latest version allows the user to view their saved passwords, a feature which was previously available only on the desktop variant of the browser.

When the use makes an account on a website using their Chrome on their Android phone, the internet browser gives him/her the option of saving their username and passwords. This feature allows the user to log in faster next time they decide to visit the same website.

It is not necessary anymore to view the log I credential for websites by going to Google passwords website. The user can now launch Chrome on his/her Android device, open “Settings” and the click on “Save passwords” option.

A list of associated websites will be available and they can be checked out by simply tapping on them. By doing so, the lock screen will appear due to security reasons and the user has to enable it on the device, so as to gain access to the website’s sensitive data.

Google disabled the option of taking screenshot of passwords. This change ha rejoiced Chrome users concerned with security.

The update is not yet available to all users worldwide, but soon enough it will be at everyone’s disposal. The new changes brought by Chrome’s latest Android version are not extreme, but they do make users’ lives easier.

The Google Chrome edition has been released in 2012 and it can be installed from Google Play. The phone must use Android 4.1 operating system or above. Some convenient features are: it synchronizes with desktop Chrome, provides hardware acceleration, page pre-rendering, GPU-accelerated canvas, CSS animations, CSS 3D Transforms and more.
