Google Chrome Tips and Tricks To Make Your Life Better

Google Chrome is one of the most used browsers out there on both desktop PCs and mobile devices. Today we will give you a few tips and tricks that you can use on this browser, which will improve your experience.

Browsing Privately Or Delete Your History

In case you don’t want your Chrome browser to save what websites you visit or what files you download, you can use the Incognito Mode that it comes with. You can also delete your history, cookies and other information if you don’t want to use the mentioned mode.

Adding A “Guest Browser” Account

There are times when a friend of yours wants to use your laptop or personal computer to check out his email or Facebook account. Well, we all prefer to have our privacy untouched and this is the reason why you will most likely want to create a “Guest Browser” account. This way, your friend will have a separate browsing experience, and you will not have to worry about your saved web pages, passwords etc. To add a “Guest Browser” account head to Chrome’s Settings->People->Add a person.

Doing Math Equations Via Omnibar

The omnibar is great and it helps you do math equations directly from it. In other words, just type 20×20 on your Chrome’s omnibar and you will see that it will give you the total sum (400).

Search Something By Highlighting It

While you surf the internet with Chrome browser, you are able to do a Google search on a phrase by just highlighting it. After you highlight the phrase, just right click on it or drag it to the omnibar.

Switching Between Tabs

Not many people know, but you can switch between tabs using a simple combination of keys. By hitting CTRL or Command + 1-9, you will be able to switch between tabs. Unfortunately, if you have more than 9 tabs open, you will not be able to switch 10+ tabs using this option.
