HTC 10 vs. Xiaomi Redmi 4s – Choose The Best One
The HTC 10 has been released in May 2016, while the Xiaomi Redmi 4s has hit the store shelves in November 2016. These two devices come with some nice specifications and today we will compare them so that you will know which one of them is better for you.
Designs
The HTC 10 measures 145.9×71.9x9mm and weights 161 grams. Likewise its predecessor, it has a unibody metal design with horizontal lines at the top and bottom of the back, but the edges are no longer curved, but chamfered. The Xiaomi Redmi 4s is slimmer and lighter as it measures 139.9×70.4×8.5mm and weights 131.5 grams. This device has a glass back with a fingerprint scanner placed in the top center, and the frame is made of metal.
Displays
The HTC 10 has a super LCD5 display of 5.2-inch that supports a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels at 565 ppi. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Redmi 4s has a smaller IPS LCD display of 5-inch that supports a lower resolution of 1280×720 pixels at 296 ppi.
Processors, Graphics Cards & RAM
The HTC 10 features a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 820 chipset, a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 2.15GHz and a dual-core Kryo CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, an Adreno 530 graphics card and 4GB of RAM. The Xiaomi Redmi 4s has a Qualcomm MSM8917 Snapdragon 425 chipset, a quad-core Cortex A53 CPU clocked at 1.4GHz an Adreno 308 graphics card and only 2GB of RAM.
Storages
The HTC 10 has been released in two internal storage variants of 32GB and 64GB, while the Xiaomi Redmi 4s has variants of 16GB and 32GB. However, the two devices come with a microSD card slot that allows you to expand the storage capacity up to 256GB using a microSD card.
Cameras
The HTC 10 sports a primary camera of 12MP that features laser autofocus, dual-LED flash, geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama, HDR and a secondary camera of 5MP. The Xiaomi Redmi 4s has a better primary camera of 13MP that features geo-tagging, touch focus, autofocus, LED flash, HDR, panorama, face detection and a secondary camera of 5MP.
Batteries
Both smartphones have non-removable batteries with capacities of 3000 mAh (HTC 10) and 3120 mAh (Xiaomi Redmi 4s).
