Huawei Accuses Google for the Nexus 6P Issues
Huawei is not hesitating to blame Google over the Nexus 6P early shutdown and its bootloop issues.
The Android hardware realm is beginning to look like some sort of soap opera. LG has been reported to face a bootloop lawsuit regarding several of its phones. Now, it seems that Huawei’s Nexus 6P could be responsible for Google encountering quite a similar inconvenience.
Google is being accused of the same bootloop issue that has blighted the LG devices and there are also some consumer reports saying that the Nexus 6P has a premature battery shutdown problem. The shutdown issues were found even at 60% battery left.
Now, the law firm Chimicles & Tikellis LLP is investigating the case of bringing a lawsuit against Google. The lawsuit filed against Google might also include the Nexus 5X device which also seemed to be affected by a very similar issue. Some users have reported that the problem was found on Android 7.0 Nougat, but the downgrade of the devices to Android Marshmallow wasn’t helpful at all.
The major issue is the fact that neither Huawei nor Google are taking responsibility for solving the problem. Even if Google is well-aware of it, all that is being currently done by the tech giant is to inform its users to go and get themselves a replacement device.
Huawei, in the other hand, is constantly saying that the issue revolves around Google’s software and not around the hardware. Therefore such an issue is not going to be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Google gets the entire blame and is being forced to properly reply the disappointed customers.
This is a very frustrating situation for the consumers as no one seems willing enough to properly investigate the case and somehow solve the problems.
