Moto G4 Plus, G5 and G5 Plus to Receive Android 8.0 Oreo with New Features

Android 8.0 Oreo is Google’s latest operating system and it contains a bunch of new features which make it a highly sought-after update. The public version of the operating system has already been out for nearly two months but there aren’t that many smartphones which received it. However, big names from the smartphone industry such as Sony, Nokia and HTC confirmed that their high-end devices are scheduled to receive Android 8.0 Oreo during the upcoming future.

Luckily for Motorola fans, the Lenovo owned company recently announced that it also plans on releasing Android 8.0 Oreo to a bunch of its smartphones. This is great news for Motorola fans, especially since the company confirmed which devices are eligible to receive Android 8.0 Oreo.

Roll Out Date

Now that Motorola unveiled which smartphones are going to receive the highly anticipated Android 8.0 Oreo operating system, all that’s left is to also reveal when will the update roll out. Sadly, Motorola didn’t want to go into too much detail about this and just said that Android 8.0 Oreo is going to come out in fall. Even though this answer is vague, fall is here and Motorola fans are advised to keep their eyes peeled at their notifications panel since Android 8.0 Oreo might pop up any time now.

Google loves to pack its operating systems with numerous updates and Android 8.0 Oreo is not an exception to that rule. As an example of what type of features Android 8.0 Oreo is going to contain, the OS will ship with a new picture in picture mode which allows users to run two different apps at the same time.
