This is the Moto G5 That Will Wow You
The Lenovo-owned brand Moto has recently launched the cheaper Moto G5 smartphone on the 4th of April in India. Both of the Moto G5 smartphone variants have been shown to the public in February at MWC 2017 but they decided to keep the more affordable G5 phone a bit hidden and decided to push the more expensive G5 Plus into the spotlight in March.
After roughly 15 days after the launch of G5 plus, the Moto G5 launch date has been announced in India, this is quite in contrast when compared to the G5 and G4 Plus phones which were launched in unison last year in May.

Motorola Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus
At first glance, the Motorola Moto G5 and the G5 Plus seem very similar and both come in a metallic body. The first obvious difference is the fact that the Moto G5 Plus has a slightly bigger display at around 5.2-inches in comparison with the 5-inch display that the regular G5 has.
The technical difference between the G5 and the G5 Plus is quite negligible. An interesting feature is a back panel on the Moto G5 which can be opened to remove the 2.800mAh battery. Both devices also have a fingerprint scanner placed in the front. The bigger G5 Plus phone has a camera module which slightly protrudes forward in comparison to the Mogo G5 which has a smooth rear finish with no such protrusion. As far as weight goes, there is just a 10 grams difference between them.
Specs and Battery Life
The OS on both phones is the standard Android 7.0 Nougat operation system. Processor wise, the G5 Plus is running on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor while the regular G5 variant has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. Front Cameras of both of the devices are the same 5MP f/2.2 type. The rear ones of the G5 Plus is a 12MP f/1.7 with a dual-LED Flash and auto-focus. The Smaller one is a 13MP f/2.0 module and a PDFAF and single LED Flash. Batteries are also different. The G5 has a 2,800mAh battery while the Moto G5 Plus has a 3,000 mAh that is non-removable, both support Fast Charging.
