OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T Receive Android Nougat 7.1.1 Update With Better Stability
Ever since Android 7 Nougat launched, more and more devices have started receiving it and its subsequent updates. And now, the time has come for China-based OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T smartphones to benefit from an update version of Android Nougat, namely Android Nougat 7.1.1. While the update didn’t bring so many new features, it did offer some very important tweaks to various issues and improved the devices’ overall stability in many areas. Keep reading to find out what the upgrade brought to OnePlus devices.
What’s New?
As we mentioned before, the update didn’t bring any massive changes to the already well-established Android 7.0 Nougat OS. However, many users did notice one very important improvement: their OnePlus devices are now taking better videos and photos. Not only has video stability improved to a shake-free image, but overall photo quality also improved. This means that your OnePlus 3 or 3T can now take the best photos and videos ever. Pretty great, isn’t it?
On top of that, Android Nougat 7.1.1 also brought system stability, a fix for the Instagram swiping bug, as well as better Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. However, VoLTE support has been removed from Settings, but this doesn’t seem to affect users in any way currently. We’ll have to wait a bit more to see how the situation unfolds in order to determine whether this choice was good or not.
All in all, we’re glad to see the Android Nougat update reach OnePlus devices, especially since most devices of this make are expected to receive it as well soon. OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T users were lucky enough to get an exclusive first feel of the update and its improvements, but other models will also receive the update very soon, as far as we know.
