Viber 6.8.2 Update Available Brings YouTube Playback To The Application
Viber is a very popular mobile messaging application that’s available on multiple platforms. Today we will talk about the latest Viber version that has been released for Android devices and the New feature that comes with it.
However, before we tell you that, we have to mention that the application has about 800 million registered users, which means that even if it’s not as popular as WhatsApp, it is still used by many people.
We’ve seen that all the mobile messaging applications out there are getting inspired from each other. For example, some of the new features that have been added to WhatsApp have been available on Telegram for quite a while. The latest Viber version for Android OS is 6.8.2 and it comes with “YouTube playback” feature and last seen timestamps on statuses.
In other words, the YouTube links will now automatically expand in the conversation and will show a preview thumbnail along with the title of the video. When tapping on the preview thumbnail, a pop-up will appear and you will see the video playing. You can also expand the video to full screen, move it around, pause playback or close it.
When it comes to the last seen timestamp, it will display the same exact thing as on WhatsApp. In other words, you will be able to find out when your contact was last seen using the Viber application.
