Frist has always been extremely loyal to the party line. If we're going to go down this thread of wild speculation a bit, if that's what it takes for Bush to "support" stem cell research, then I guess that's what it takes. Honestly, I think it has more to do with Frist running for Prez in 2008. He shouldn't worry about this. He'll never win. No charisma and too much of a follower.
