About That “Fox Didn’t Take His Meds On Purpose” Meme

Yeah…that’s nonsense…

University of Chicago neurologist Dr. Thomas Kelly says Limbaugh doesn’t have his facts straight. Fox’s disease has progressed where he no longer only gets tremors, which can be controlled with medication, but has more erratic movements which are caused directly by his medicine.

“Chaotic, maybe writhing, dance-like movements, or dyskinesia, the movements I’ve seen in Mr. Fox, are due to his medications,” said Dr. Kelly.

Rush Limbaugh doesn’t have his facts straight? What?

    It amazes me that people like Limbaugh command such respect when they act like cheap news mongers regurgitating information that they neither verify for accuracy nor evaluate for factual content!! While it would be entirely un-Christian of me to wish the such a debilitating disorder on anyone, i certainly wish that Mr Limbaugh could have the opportunity to experience, if only for a short time, the symptoms of this disease and the side effects of the medicines used to control it….as a nurse i see many people suffering the effects of various diseases and disorders and the vast majority depend heavily on pharmacalogical interventions that themselves cause some pretty severe symptoms…my suggestion to Limbaugh is to concentrate on issues that need to be addressed and apologise to viewers for his significant lapse in judgement with respect to the Michael Fox situation!!
