Santorum Says Nay To McCain

Following up on Dennis’ post below, here’s an weird little tidbit about Rick Santorum…future Fox News contributor and newly outed John McCain hater.

Rick?

“The only one I wouldn’t support is McCain,� Santorum said during an interview in his office at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in Washington, where he is a senior fellow.

“I don’t agree with him on hardly any issues,’’ Santorum said. “I don’t think he has the temperament and leadership ability to move the country in the right direction.�

But gee Rick…that’s funny. You and McCain agree on issues like abortion, don’t you?

Santorum suggested that McCain also wasn’t as solidly anti-abortion as he would like. “He may be pro-life, but I served with him for 12 years, and I know how pro-life he is,� Santorum said.

Oh no you didn’!

What’s funny is that McCain is far more conservative than either Romney or Giuliani. And yet, he’s got guys like Santorum attacking his conservative credibility.

Hmm, somehow I’m liking McCain a lot better now…

    All the Republican presidential hopefuls for 08 are Liberals.
    McCain; stepped on the 1st amendment with McCain Fingold and has made anti 2nd amendment comments.
    Rudy; Is pro abortion, pro gay marriage and anti gun.
    Romney; Is the only Governor to adopt the Clinton gun ban and make it perminant in the state of Mass.
    Any of these three in my humble opinion would be no better than Hillary or Obama.
    Where have the conservitives gone?
