Kerry Endorses Obama

What’s the reason? Well, some think it’s an attempt to get back at Edwards, but I think that’s silly.

No, I think it’s because Kerry essentially introduced Obama to the world in the first place…

As for Obama, Kerry gave the young Illinois state senator his first turn in the national spotlight when he chose him to deliver the keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic National Convention. Later that year, Obama won election as a U.S. senator.

Obama owes Kerry a pretty big debt for that slot. It’s when people first said, “Hey, that guy could be President.”

And the rest could be history.

    Good call, Mr. G.,
Sounds more to me like future job promotion than anything else – and why not? If that’s getting even it’s doing so with the neocons. Why shouldn’t he n people like him (Al Gore?) get a chance in the next administration to show everyone what they’re capable of doing?
And the pendulum swings. Oh boy, we’re all in for fun times!
