Anti-Obama Muslim Smear Shows Up On The Moderate Voice

By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Blogging, Money

I was just over at Joe’s place and found this (comment, arrow and circle are mine)…

Just to be clear, Google ads are ALL automated so bloggers have nothing to do with this content showing up on their site. However, they can filter out the URL in question so ads from that URL don’t show up again. I detail how to do that here.

I’d like to see the entire blogosphere block this URL ASAP, but in the meantime I wonder how wide this smear is spreading?

UPDATE:
Joe emailed and told me he filtered out the URL.

Have you?

The Obama campaign has actually bought ads for searches like “Obama muslim” to set people straight. It’s a shame that these rumors are out there and that some are buying into them.

We must be putting our sensitivity training on the shelf. How would you like to have your religion referred to as a “smear”? Nice, Justin. Time for you take a DNC refresher course on cultural sensitivities, big-tent, inclusiveness, unity language.
