Hillary, McCain Gain In Latest Gallup Poll

Now she’s ahead by 7 points, so it appears as if she captured the rest of the Edwards voters. He’s ahead by 20 points.

Here’s some detail for the Repubs…

And Dems…

Conclusions? The Republican nomination will be decided on Tuesday. The Democrats will have to keep on going and Barack’s $32 million haul in January will really help him.

The word for February? Superdelegates.

    True, the proportional vote rules for the Democrats will keep things going for a little while, but if Clinton wins 18 races on Tuesday (as looks likely) Obama will have an almost impossible task.

    Its weird…all the talk a couple of weeks ago was about the potential for brokered Republican convention….but if that is gonna happen anywhere it will be at the Democratic convention. (And maybe Edwards should have kept going to enhance his “kingmaker” status.)

    The Republicans, by having winner take all primaries, are likely done on Tuesday.

    Its gonna be interesting.
