More Delegate Nonsense From The Clinton Camp
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Florida, Hillary, MichiganHarold Ickes, a guy who voted to strip Michigan and Florida of their delegates, is now arguing they should be seated at the convention. Of course he’s part of the Clinton campaign.
What’s wrong with these people?:
In a conference call Saturday, the longtime Democratic Party member contended the DNC should reconsider its tough sanctions on the two states, which held early contests in violation of party rules. He said millions of voters in Michigan and Florida would be otherwise disenfranchised - before acknowledging moments later that he had favored the sanctions.Ickes explained that his different position essentially is due to the different hats he wears as both a DNC member and a Clinton adviser in charge of delegate counting. Clinton won the primary vote in Michigan and Florida, and now she wants those votes to count.
“There’s been no change,” Ickes said. “I was not acting as an agent of Mrs. Clinton. We had promulgated rules and those rules said the timing provision … provides for certain sanctions, automatic sanctions as a matter of fact, if a state such as Michigan or Florida violates those timing provisions.”
“With respect to the stripping, I voted as a member of the Democratic National Committee. Those were our rules and I felt I had an obligation to enforce them,” he said.
Does he really think we’re this stupid? Jeezus…
So how to solve Florida and Michigan? Well, the obvious answer is to do a revote, but Ickes is even against that!…
On Saturday, Ickes reiterated the campaign’s view that new “redo” votes in Florida and Michigan aren’t necessary. He said many superdelegates are elected lawmakers or governors who are supposed to exercise their independent judgment to vote contrary to public opinion if they believe another candidate has a better chance of winning.
I literally can’t believe they’re trying to game the system like this, especially when it’s obvious to everybody how underhanded it would be if they actually got their way. So I cite this as yet another reason why Hillary and team DO NOT belong in the White House. This is craziness and completely unbecoming on Democrats.

Superdelegates are a super problem for Dems…
Oh well in that case why have primaries and caucus’ at all? For that matter why not let them decide for us who gets elected since they are obviously superior in judgment than us plebes. This is exactly how these elitist democrats view people. People ….

Playing by a double standard is not seen a unfair by the Clintons. I don’t think they think we are stupid, I think they think we should see that they are entitled. If a law doesn’t support their entitlement that the law is unfair and justice demands they ignore it. The Clintons deserver 2 votes for every one cast with all they have done for us and with the media bias. Their attacks and racist statements are regrettable but needed if they are to implement Gods desire to have them back together in the White House. The paradoxes are mind numbing: Obama is not vetted, while Hillary refuses to release her and Bills tax returns to explain who is paying 5 million dollars that fund her campaign. She is worried about the Republicans finding skeletons in Obama’s closet while numerous website indicate literal skeletons in her closet.

I agree. This is the exact reason why Hilary should not be a president of United States of America. She does not respect her own party’s rules. SHE WOULD DO ANYTHING TO WIN AND THAT’S WRONG!
Obama for president!
