Obama Picks Up Utah Add-On Superdelegate

Now he’s just .5 delegates away from tying Hillary.

From 2008 Democratic Convention Watch:

Utah selected it’s add-on superdelegate last night: Kristi Cumming. We know that Utah Chairman Wayne Holland, an Obama supporter, had previously announced that the add-on would be an Obama supporter, and we have received confirmation from the Utah Democratic Party that Cumming will be supporting Obama.

An additional note, Massachusetts and Ohio will be choosing two add-ons apiece today, and I’d imagine Hillary will be picking up the lion’s share of those. So Obama probably won’t overtake her until next week.

Post-Pennsylvania Delegate Pickups:
Obama – 41
Clinton – 13.5

Total Superdelegates:
Clinton – 272.5

    Super Deligates Smooper Deligates.
Someone tell her, the only thing worse than loosing is becoming IRRELEVANT!!!
The only important time is when Hilary becomes “irrelevant”
She will become irrelevant this week to her shame in pursuing this bid for nomination.
She has been there since Tuesday after the N Carolina vote.

The BBC website is reporting that Obama has 275 superdelegates to Clinton’s 271 , although there aren’t much details.

    “That one”…so what!

I as a professional black woman who never follows and was taught to use my own judgement and of which is a registered independent in Milwaukee Wisconsin must say this… Sen. McCain saying “That one”, is the least of my concerns. I’m trying to figure out why he didn’t say “THE ONE”. Since Sen. Obama has, what seems to me, to be a CULT following that almost scares me.

People please…we are in a recession, poor people are getting poorer and the rich will run to the hills if we tax them anymore and the middle class business person’s are about to close their shops. We need to deal with trying to dissect Sen. McCain’s new plan. Let’s focus on this $300 billion new proposal. Let’s find out if this would be best for us or not.

Have we as black folks become so elitist that no one can call us anything other than African American? First being called an Afro American (hairstyle) was wrong, Negro ( en espanol means the color black) was wrong, Black American was wrong, Minority isn’t correct…come on.

We have some real stuff to contend with not this crap! Holla back at cha girl…[email protected]
