Ahh, the free press isn’t so free after all, eh?

Regardless of what the national mood is, the press needs to act like the press. That’s why they’re there. I realize that it might be hard for network execs to face the scrutiny of being called traitors for reporting what they know, but that’s a hazard of the job. The press doesn’t exist to be liked.

So please, for everybody’s benefit, do your jobs already.
