Clinton’s Name to be Placed in Nomination at Convention

Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton have come to an agreement that Clintonâ€™s name will be placed in nomination at the Democratic National Convention.

The two senators released a joint statement saying the move is a symbolic recognition of Clintonâ€™s historic campaign and is intended to unite the party.

Sounds like a vanity play on Clintonâ€™s part, but it looks like Obama, by agreeing to the measure, is assuring the convention will be the usual scripted affair, albeit with more recognition of his vanquished rival than heâ€™d probably like.

I wonder if this will actually mollify Clinton supporters?
