Open Streaming The Second Presidential Debate Tomorrow

As I’ve done with the first prez debate and the only veep debate, I’ll be “open streaming” the debate.

So what’s that?

Well, instead of “liveblogging” the debate, which is incredibly hard to do and doesn’t really allow me any interaction with you, I’ll just kick off a post and start posting comments below the post. And then you join in. And then we all just keep commenting to one another.

Usually this is known as an “open thread” but I prefer “open stream” because during a live event it’s really more like a stream of thoughts being posted instead of a traditional comment thread.

In any event, I hope you decide to join me tomorrow at 9pm EST.
