The best analyst breaks it down…

Some good points about how hard it’ll be for either candidate to go negative. Especially in this town hall format. And honestly, I think the first one to get really negative loses the debate.

Also, those Obama/Biden 50%, McCain/Palin 29% debate numbers are pretty astonishing. But those are the first two debates and anything can happen in the town hall format.

Tip for both candidates tonight: watch out for the ponytail guy.
