The 5 Worst Days Of 2008

For me, the meaning of “worst” is definitely in the eye of the beholder. Because while a lot of wealth was lost, the silver lining was that many economic ills were exposed before something truly cataclysmic happened.

There’s no doubt that our economy is hurting right now, but just imagine what would have happened if we had responded with “let them fail” as many on the right advocated.

And just remember this when the same folks will be arguing against any stimulus and trying to rewrite history and claim that the New Deal made The Great Depression worse.
