Isn’t that one of the few areas of agreement when it comes to jews and muslims, not to eat swine?

Give me a pork hot dog anyday, not one of those nasty salty kosher beef ones.

  2. ExiledIndependent Says:

When I look at this picture, I see “Iran” eating a hotdog (has a mouthful of it, in fact), while Don Knotts eagerly serves him another (I kid, Donar!). Iran’s reaction is one of slightly-concerned overwhelmedness. So the subtext here is that the US is eagerly serving up Israel to Iran so that Iran will come to our party. But Iran can only consume Israel one bite at a time, and may not be able to devour as much of Israel as Obama would like.

    Truly a chilling portrait.

  3. Jeremy from NJ Says:

I (shockingly) disagree with Exiled assessment. To me, Don, is telling Iran that they can come to our party and deal with the fact that Israel is our friend. They can be civil and recognize their similarities, or choke on it.

No Chicagoan would serve anything but a Chicago Red Hot so it is all fantasy. We take no cues from New York on food.

  5. Nick Benjamin Says:

They’d probably actually prefer a Kosher Dog to a normal American hot dog.

Islamic dietary laws (Halal) are similar enough to Kosher rules that many Moslems think anything Kosher is also Halal by definition.

  6. ExiledIndependent Says:

Remember, Word, that Obama is above Chicago. Above American, above the whole world, in a sense. He’s like God.

Let the hate leave you EI, you’ll feel cleansed.
