Call of Duty Black Ops 2 Released for Xbox One with New Improvements

0

We have some pretty good news for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 fans, who own an Xbox One console. It seems that the Xbox 360 version of the Black Ops 2 has finally joined the Backwards Compatible games list earlier this week.

We remind you that the title was also added to the Xbox Spring Sale 2017 and you can purchase it right now for £15.99, if you are an Xbox Gold member. However, that’s not all, as according to a new report, this is actually the best version of Black Ops 2 until now.

Eurogamer claims that the Black Ops 2 for Xbox One has noticed that despite the resolution issues, the game runs without any problems. This means that the performance of this title on the Xbox One is great.

The bad news is that the game still runs at a low resolution, which is one of the aspects that not many will enjoy, especially the new gamers, who are used to games running at 1080p.

When it comes to the multiplayer mode, the game is running at stable 60 frames per second (FPS), but it still has some minor issues. You will notice that when explosions happen or when the fire fills your screen, the FPS will not be stable anymore and it will actually drop. However, the FPS goes back to normal after that, so you don’t have to worry too much about this problem.

If you already own the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 old disc that was for Xbox 360, you will be able to insert it on your Xbox One console and it will work without any problems. This is great, especially for the gamers who’ve been playing this game a few years ago on their Xbox 360 console.

In case you’ve bought the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 digitally for your Xbox 360, you will now find the title inside the “My Games and Apps” section on your Xbox One. You can also purchase the game digitally from the Xbox Marketplace or via the Xbox One Store.
