HTC U Leaks Prove Better Structure and Awesome Design
HTC has recently announced that they are working on the new installment of their freshly-introduced U series of devices. After they have launched the U Ultra and U Play, they are set to reveal a third new smartphone that is reported to be named either HTC U or HTC Ocean. While some information was already known about the device, we have recently seen some leaks into the overall design of the smartphone.
The exact image of the leak was provided by Evan Blass, a known tipster, and looks quite similar to the HTC U Ultra, which also has the same design choice. At the front of the smartphone, we will find a bezel-less display and a fingerprint sensor at the base of it, as well as an earpiece and a camera.
As was the case in the last leak, the device will have the Edge Sense feature, this will allow the users to be able to interact with the edges of the screen so that they can start tasks and features
Android Headlines has reported that the information in the leaked material suggests that the users will need to perform a short squeeze so that the Edge Sense will start to perform certain tasks, such as the Camera or turning on the Wi-Fi Hotspot.
The smartphone will incorporate an enhanced camera with HDR settings, like HDR+, Hi-Res recording features and 3D Audio. It will also have a 5.5-inch WQHD display with a 3D Gorilla Glass 5 Protection and will be powered by the newest Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.
HTC U will run the latest Android OS, namely the Nougat 7.1, and will have their own Sense Home UI featured on top of that. As for battery, it seems to have a 3000mAH battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 available.
