Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro finally Receives Latest Android Update

While some users have a chance to experience the latest Android 8.0 Oreo, others are finally receiving Android 7.0 Nougat on their devices. Samsung is one of the mobile producers that is bringing Android Nougat to its devices. The Galaxy 5 and Galaxy 7 were first and now it is the Galaxy A9 Pro is next.

The Galaxy A9 Pro was launched with Android Marshmallow. SamMobile reported that Nougat was being tested on this phone and now it has been reported that a firmware version A910FXXU1BQHB was released for the Galaxy A9 Pro in India.

In order to receive the OTA update you should know that it weights over 1.2 GB in file size so you should prepare at least 2 GB of storage. Delete some files if you do not have enough free space available. You should also know that you must have at least 50 percent battery and you can even consider charging it during the update. Your installation might be compromised if your device turns off. Don’t forget to use a Wi-Fi network instead of using your mobile data.

Phone specifications

This smartphone is an improved version of the Galaxy A9 and it comes with several additions. The device comes with a 6-inch AMOLED display that has a Gorilla Glass 4 protection. The design features a body made out of glass and metal and the home button can be also used as a fingerprint sensor.

The Galaxy A9 Pro has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor and it is dual sim. It also comes with 32 GB of internal storage and 4 GB of RAM. The storage can be expanded up to 256 GB with the help of a microSD card.

The handset also features a 16 MP back camera and an 8 MP frontal one.
