The Galaxy A5 2017 runs on an in-house Exynos 7880 chipset with an octa-core CPU with Cortex-A53 cores, clocked at 1.9GHz and it features a Mali-T830 GPU. Both phones’ processors use the 14nm technology.

The Galaxy C7 has 4GB RAM and an internal storage of 64GB that can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB. The Galaxy A5 2017 has 3GB RAM and an internal storage of 32GB than can also be expanded with a microSD card up to 256GB.

Both Samsung phones have a 16MP f/1.9 camera setup on both the front and back. The C7 Pro features a dual-flash tone LED and the Galaxy A5 2017 supports a single tone flash LED.
