TubeMate is a free intuitive app that lets you download YouTube videos on your PC so you can watch them offline. What version of the app should I download?
It’s always recommended to download the latest version of any app. In the case of TubeMate, that would be the 3.1 (1053) APK 2018.
Can I store TubeMate videos on the SD card of my Android phone?
Yes, but the process is not as straightforward as downloading it directly to your phone. This is because the KitKat OS and Oreo versions of the Android OS hasn’t made this available yet. In the meantime, there are two methods you can try to get this done.
If you have the root access, download SDfix from Google Play Store. Open your Tubemate app and select Preferences. From there you can choose a folder where you want to store the videos on your phone’s SD card.
Now, if you don’t have the root access you can still go to the Tubemate app. Once its open, go to Preferences. Choose “External” from the options provided.
It’s worth noting that this second method doesn’t allow you to change the folder location.
How do I install TubeMate on a PC?
Downloading TubeMate on your desktop PC requires an Android emulator. This will allow you to download any app from the Play Store on your PC. Bluestacks is a good option for this. When you’re done downloading it. You can then proceed to download and install TubeMate.
