One of the most anticipated and important events that Microsoft will host is going to take place on May 2. The New York City event will show us the tech giant unveiling some new hardware and software pieces. As such, you will be happy to know that the Surface Pro 5 machine is finally out on the list, after many months of rumors and speculations.
Upcoming Spring Event
From what we know until now, the spring event held by Microsoft received the codename “Bespin” and it is going to focus on creativity and educational activities. It will start at 9:30 AM ET on May 2. However, the device everybody is waiting for, the Surface Pro 5, will not make its debut there, but at least we know it’s on its way.
More Surprises
Even though we’re not getting the Surface Pro 5, this doesn’t mean that we’re not be seeing some other interesting surprises. Finally, Microsoft is going to unveil the final design for the Xbox Project Scorpio, which is somewhat early, if you think about the fact that the E3 event is taking place in June.
Besides, the company should release the Windows Cloud OS, which is their own version of an app management service dedicated to the education market. It’s in fact an alternative for Chrome and it should run together with the Microsoft Universal apps.
At the same time, we will also get to see the new Surface 4 device. Rumor has it that the new Surface Book version will not come with the removable screen and will in fact go for the traditional design. As previously mentioned, the Surface Pro 5 was not included in the event, but even so, we will still get to see its launch. However, we don’t know the release date just yet.
