The upcoming Creators Update will be released for users via the Windows Update on April 11, 2017. However, if you can’t wait until then, you can always install it manually by downloading the update from the internet or do a fresh install of Windows using the Media Creation Tool. Today we will talk about some features that this new update comes with.

Game Mode

Windows is one of the most used operating systems for gaming and this is the reason why Microsoft needs to bring improvements to gamers if they want to keep them in their platform. The Windows 10 Creators Update comes with a dedicated game mode, which will divert resources away from useless background tasks to the game. The players will surely feel a big difference into the game performance.

Night Light

Microsoft has finally brought the “Night Light” feature to its Windows 10, allowing the users to reduce the amount of blue light emitted by the screen either manually or in time with sunset.

Dynamic Lock

Dynamic Lock feature will surely be used by many people out there. It is using the Bluetooth signal from your smartphone to tell you are sitting in front of your computer or not. So, if usually take the smartphone with you everywhere you go, once you go away from your computer, the feature will automatically lock your screen, keeping your personal information away from anyone who would try to get inside your computer.

Microsoft Edge Received Some Improvements

Microsoft has also managed to bring some new features to its Edge browser. Once your Windows 10 gets the Creators Update, you will notice that the Edge is able to collect tabs for later, removing their load from your computer while you are not using them. Whenever you will want to access the tabs, you will be able to do so without any problems. The browser will also block some Flash elements by default, but you can manually run them if you want to.

Improved Privacy

Microsoft has decided to reduce the amount of data that it collects from your computer. The company claims that most of the data collected is used to fix issues, but users can now set the data that is collected while installation or update Windows to the new version. Unfortunately, non- enterprise users will still not be able to prevent Windows from sending any data back to Microsoft, but the Home and Pro users will have more control on this.
