Windows 10 Creators Update is finally here and now’s your chance to say goodbye to a faulty operating system (OS) and welcome a new one. Hopefully, one that works better than the last.

The update is set to roll out today to users across the world. With a wealth of upgrades, additions, and fixes in its fold, there’s plenty of reasons to seriously consider updating to the latest OS.

Windows 10 Creators Update marks the biggest upgrade since the Anniversary update rolled out last autumn. It also brings some of the top features users may not have been looking for, but would most appreciate. One of these is the Game Mode that is optimized for intensive PC gaming. It will tweak your computer’s hardware to make it work with a particular game and boost your gaming experience.

There’s also the all-new Paint 3D app that is designed to make tinkering with 3D modeling technology a lot easier than it looks. For anyone who’d been dying to get their hands on anything 3D-related, the Windows 10 Creators Update opens the door for them.

The new Windows Defender Security Centre, on the other hand, keeps users well-protected by default and will continue to be protected for as long as possible.

While most users across the globe can upgrade to the latest OS, some may have to wait for a few days. Nonetheless, all PC currently running the basic version of Windows 10 are eligible for the Creators Update. Windows-powered devices, such as the Surface Pro 4 and Pro 3 devices, as well as the Lenovo Yoga Book and Samsung Galaxy Tab S3, will also get the update. Strangely, only certain Windows Phone devices will get the Windows 10 Creators Update. These include Lumia 950, Lumia 650 and several other Lumia devices.

With new features for Cortana included in the upgrade, you should get the latest OS from Microsoft.
