If this is the way you choose candidates – automatically assuming they are everything you want them to be – and then looking for evidence why you shouldn’t believe it, then Obama is your guy.

Obama stands for nothing, he doesn’t believe in anything, he has no record, no experience. He is a blank slate. He has traction precisely because you can project on to him every thing you want, and you have no reasons to doubt it is reality. He just spouts off platitudes like “hope” and “change.” Well, great.
