I for one would welcome another Gore run. I personally am not looking for the better candidate /politician, I'm looking for the better leader, someone capable of backing up campaign promises with action. Yes, there would be people alienated by this, but as Democrats that what a presidential election years are about. We know what Gore stands for already and I am comfortable with the kind of change a Gore presidency would bring. I think the majority of Democrats are not nearly as passionate for either Obama or Clinton as the media leads us to believe. Gore would be accepted by the majority of Dems because he has the experience to run against and beat McCain.

I think the Gore thing is stupid. I like Al Gore a lot. But I think the idea that he's a better candidate/politician than Obama will be laughed at (actually I'm already laughing at it) in the future. Gore is a great guy and would have been an excellent president. But as we should all remember from 2000 - He's not that great of a politician.

I agree. I think most pundits/columnists who throw that idea around are just looking for some attention and a Drudge link.
