Rasmussen: Obama Leads McCain By 7

Obama gains one in today’s tracking from yesterday and regains his full post-Hillary bounce of two days ago.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows Barack Obama attracts 48% of the vote while John McCain earns 40%. When “leaners†are included, Obama leads 50% to 43%. Those figures represent a modest one-week bounce for Obama. Last Tuesday, just before the Illinois Senator clinched the nomination, the candidates were tied at 46%.This year’s campaign has already seen far more volatility than Election 2004. Neither Bush nor Kerry ever enjoyed an eight point lead during that campaign and the overall voter preferences barely moved from January through Election Day. As part of the 2008 volatility, perceptions of the two candidates are changing rapidly, much more rapidly than four years ago. More voters are coming to see Barack Obama as politically liberal while more also see McCain as politically conservative.

I believe that the “OLD WAY” of putting a candidate in a liberal or conservative corner is OLD. What lives in a candidate is what is feed. People feed Obama wants , McCain is feed by corporations. You may call it “liberal” or “conservative”, but I prefer a set of terms “people” and “corporate”. I do see Obama as a “people” candidate, and McCain as a “corporate” candidate. Look at the staff, look at the supporters, look at the oration of each. I realize I am whizzing tin the wind on word usage but that is me. Sounds simple, maybe too simple for this blog.
