Gallup: Obama Up By 2
By Justin Gardner | Related entries in 2008 Election, Barack, Democrats, Independents, McCain, Polls, RepublicansA gain of 1 since yesterday, but for all intents and purposes, this race is tied.

These results are based on interviews conducted July 16-18. In Friday’s report, Barack Obama’s support fell out of the narrow 46%-48% range it had been in for the prior 18 reports, and remains outside that range today. However, Obama had a stronger night in Friday interviewing and could inch back into that range with another strong performance tonight.
I have to think that Maliki’s endorsement of Obama’s withdrawal plan will help the Illinois senator, but you never know.
More tomorrow…

It should be a bit higher, but it shouldn’t concern anyone considering how early it is in the election season.

…and by anyone, I mean it shouldn’t concern Obama supporters that he’s only up by 1, nor should it discourage McCain supporters that he’s trailing. Like you said, it’s pretty much tied and anyone could win it at this point.

Whats the difference? They are exactly the same on almost everything when you look at the end results of any issue. Both are Marxists. McCain just hides it better
