George Will Slams McCain’s Economic Performance

“John McCain showed us his personality this week and made some of us fearful.”
- George Will on ABC’s This Week, talking about John McCain’s bad week.

Here’s the video. Will’s quote is at the very end.

As many of you know, George Will is a conservative columnist, so this doesn’t bode well for perceptions about McCain’s handling of this latest economic news. I’m sure McCain doesn’t care what Will thinks about him, but I’ve noticed in the past that Will seems to have his pulse on the mood of the fiscal conservative crowd. In fact, if memory serves, Will spoke out earlier than most against Bush’s spend thrift ways and his handling of the Iraq war.

What do you think?
