Rasmussen: Obama Leads By 2

McCain - 47%

Obama gains 1 and McCain drops 1 as we get closer to debate night.

And concerning that debate…voters may be annoyed that it’ll be on foreign policy…

As consumer and investor confidence keeps tumbling, 47% of voters now say the economy is the top voting issue for Election 2008. National security is a distant second at 19%.

Seventy-six percent (76%) now say the economy is getting worse and just 25% of voters currently support the financial rescue plan proposed by Treasury Secretary Paulson.

09/24/2008: McCain - 47%, Obama - 49%
09/23/2008: McCain - 48%, Obama - 48%
09/22/2008: McCain - 47%, Obama - 48%
09/21/2008: McCain - 47%, Obama - 48%
