Ipsos/McClatchy: Undecideds Move To Obama/Biden

First, the poll shows us that Biden won the debate 54% to 46%. So yet again, he wins in a poll. I saw Pat Buchanan try to argue today on The McLaughlin Group that Drudge’s online poll and Frank Luntz’s focus group on Fox should count too. Well, good luck with that Pat.
Now, Palin was apparently more likable, but the independent voters don’t like her enough to trust her running the country.
In fact, undecided voters favored McCain 56% to 44% before the Veep debate. The next day? 52% to 48% for Obama.
As many have said recently, the Veep debate was good for Palin’s brand, but didn’t do very much for McCain’s.

Sarah Palin should have run against Ted Stevens this year, easily beaten him and become a Senator. Then she’d be a prime option for VP or even the top spot in 2012 or 2016. Little controversy, all would be good for the GOP. But noooooo, McCain had to be weird and pick her now.
