McCain Struck Speechless By The Facts

Wow…this is pretty astonishing. It’s like McCain hears it and wants into the Obama healthcare plan.

Will this be the clip of the night?

“ZERO?!”

UPDATE:
Ben Smith agrees.

Marc Ambinder embeds too.

HOLY CRAP!!! This must’ve happened when I was reading my daughter her books… I remember hearing them talk about health care in the other room at that point…

Yeah, that’s the clip of the night, there.

Sorry for the double post… I’m getting quite a few “Internal Error” messages from this thing tonight, and I always think my post didn’t go through.

That’s a hilarious clip. I can’t decide if McCain was trying to pull off a “who are you trying to fool?” reaction and totally botched it or if he was expressing actual surprise at the answer.

But I think we can all agree that the donklephant.com server is having an even harder night. Poor thing.

It was a “who are you trying to fool look.” Let’s move away from this and focus on the issues.

Also, FoxNews is spinning like crazy to claim a McCain victory. Karl Rove and Sean Hannity are throwing everything and the kitchen sink against Obama.

  6. Workpost Foreman Says:

Great clip, McCain sounds a little too surprised here, like he’s got nothing to say other than to act surprised, portray Obama as being a little crazy and hope everyone goes along with it. That said, I hope Obama can get enough support to actually implement some of the plans he’s been talking about – if he’s elected. The direction this country is heading right now is troubling. Low retail sales, manic swings in the stock market, skyrocketing health costs and increasing unemployment have got to be addressed somehow… and giving small businesses advantages like health care breaks might be a step in the right direction.

I lost count of how many times he blinked with that monkey face. He puts Bush to shame.

    Obamowned.

You don’t even have to look real close to see his argument deflate. Best moment of the debate in my opinion.
