Pawlenty Would Have Been A Better Pick

As I watch the following clip, I see a guy who comes off as an genuine, thoughtful conservative thinker. Sort of like Huckabee, only not as folksy. And, by the way, that’s not a bad thing.

What do you see?

But maybe he should thank McCain that he didn’t invite him on this train wreck of a campaign. Because they probably would have screwed up Pawlenty’s roll out just as badly as they did Palin’s…although Palin certainly didn’t help herself much.

No kidding. Ted Kennedy might have been a better pick for McCain.

The problem is that Pawlenty is another old white man. He is not a woman or a minority. This election from the beginning was about voting with your heart rather than your head, and two old, white republican men on the same ticket just doesn’t have an interesting narrative nor does it inspire people.
